Who we are
I am Angel Ariz, instructor at the Fisticuffs Guilde. I am certified in Contemporary Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts, Rapid Assault Tactics. I have been training in martial arts, boxing, Muay Thai, and JKD Concepts for most of my life. I proudly served my country for 11 years in the US Army National Guard. I’ve worked as Armed Security for nightclubs, and as a security officer in emergency rooms and medical complexes in Providence, RI.
Martial Arts and Fitness are my obsession and I share the best of what I have learned and am always willing to learn more. I have trained with many Instructors over the years.
Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, Shotokan Karate, Kenpo, Japanese Ju Jitsu and Kick Boxing are some of the arts in which I have trained. In 1993, I was introduced to the world of FMA and Jun Fan JKD via Sifu Raffi Derderian and Sigung Kevin Seaman.
