Everyone may have their own reasons to see the Empire fall, some more noble than others. But for your vile plans to work you must do it as a team. Come and play as one of 13 pre-made evil-aligned characters for this Dungeons& Dragons 5th edition one-shot.
What I bring
I will be creating and running a game based around an unholy alliance of adventurers, assassins, and draconic descendants who have banded together to take down the supposedly just ruler of a nearby city. Players will collaborate on how best to breach the castle, eliminate the Emporer, and take the throne. Roleplay is highly encouraged!
This will be a mid-level adventure with 13 pre-made characters (one for each class) that players can choose from at the start of the game. These characters have full abilities and notes on backstories and goals, but it is up to each player to fill in the details and decide their personalities and exactly how far they’re willing to go to achieve their goals. Experience with Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition is preferred but not necessary and I will take time to help out anyone new to the game. As this is an evil one shot there is an option for players to sabotage each other but ultimately teamwork will be in your best interest for most of the game. We will also utilize safety mechanics such as Lines and Veils and the X-card.
Each adventure will have 3-7 players and run for 3-4 hours. The difficulty of the encounters is adjusted accordingly to the number of players. Dice, paper, and pencils will be provided for the duration of play and reference books will be on hand.
Who I am
Shadow Wilf is has been running games for nearly 10 years now though only recently started getting paid for them by complete accident. They’ve run games in various different systems such as D&D 5e, Masks: the Next Generation of Heroes, Vampire the Masquerade, and even the horrid Edition that must not be named (4th) back when seemed the only one immediately available. And even after all this time, they have a special place in the cavity in their chest where the heart once was for The Book of Vile Darkness.
In their free time, they are also an up-and-coming author, amateur artist, Folklore student, improv comedy actor, and genderfluid witch.
