Kathryn is a local teacher who began painting while stuck at home during the pandemic. She creates beautiful watercolors and funky acrylic pieces, using bright colors and elements of nature. Her most popular items are her fun and functional handpainted coasters. Be sure to check her out if you’re thinking about the holidays, too, as she accepts commissioned pieces, and loves painting pet ornaments!
Who we are
Kathryn is a middle school English teacher living in Albany. Her business name (A Caffeinated Painter) stems from all of the caffeine she consumes while trying to balance school and art with all of her other hobbies (reading, hiking, camping, and being a cat mom). There’s always fresh coffee, high energy, and usually some laughter when Kathryn’s around!
